Measurement calculator

Reverse Peptide Calculator

Start with a U-100 marking and your vial values. Calculate the equivalent volume and mass in mg and mcg.

Calculates
Convert an entered U-100 marking to volume and equivalent mass using your vial concentration.
You provide
Vial mass, liquid volume and a U-100 marking
Returns
Volume in mL, equivalent mass in mcg and mg, and concentration

How this calculator works

Reverse mode starts with a scale marking rather than a target mass. First it converts U-100 units to mL, then multiplies that volume by your calculated concentration. A marking of zero is valid and corresponds to zero volume and mass.

Formula

Volume in mL = U-100 units ÷ 100. Equivalent mass = volume × concentration.

Arithmetic example — not a recommendation

Arithmetic example only: with 5 mg in 2 mL, concentration is 2,500 mcg/mL. A marking of 10 U-100 units represents 0.1 mL, which corresponds to 250 mcg or 0.25 mg.

Scope and assumptions

This mode interprets U-100 markings only. It does not identify an actual syringe, check its capacity or infer scale accuracy. A marking does not represent a universal mass.

Mass is normalized to mcg; volume stays in mL. Where shown, U-100 means 100 scale units per mL. Read all formulas and precision rules.

Questions about this tool

Can I use a different syringe scale?

Only U-100 is supported in this MVP. Other scales cannot be entered or silently interpreted as U-100.

Why is vial information still required?

A marking provides volume, not mass. Mass depends on concentration, which is calculated from the vial mass and final liquid volume you enter.
