How this calculator works

This tool connects mass, concentration and volume in one calculation. The target amount is a value you supply, not one selected by PeptiCompute. Select mg or mcg for each mass and explicitly acknowledge the U-100 scale before calculating.

Formula

Concentration = vial mass ÷ liquid volume. Target volume = target mass ÷ concentration. U-100 marking = volume × 100.

Arithmetic example — not a recommendation

For an arithmetic example only, 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2,500 mcg/mL. A user-entered target of 250 mcg corresponds to 0.1 mL and 10 U-100 units. The mass ratio is 20 theoretical portions.

Scope and assumptions

The calculation assumes a uniform solution and the entered final liquid volume. It does not account for loss, purity, stability, equipment precision or the suitability of any amount.

Mass is normalized to mcg; volume stays in mL. Where shown, U-100 means 100 scale units per mL. Read all formulas and precision rules.

Questions about this tool

Is this a peptide dosage calculator?

People use that phrase to find mass-and-volume arithmetic. This calculator does not choose a dose. You must already have the source values and target amount; the output is their mathematical relationship.

What are theoretical portions?

Total vial mass divided by the target mass you entered. This is a ratio that may be fractional, without accounting for material loss. It is not a schedule or a count of administrations.
